Paul Lussier

Currently, Paul plays a variety of songs as a solo artist at various events from pubs to weddings.  Using two loopers, a harmonizer, and other effects, Paul can recreate the sound of an entire band.  His song selection and style is adaptable to each specific venue, playing songs from the 50s to the present day.  Playing styles from country to reggae to hard rock and pop. 

 

Paul grew up in a suburb of Boston and after considering clarinet, organ, and drums , he settled on guitar as his instrument of choice when he was around 15 years of age. He is a self-taught, play-by-ear musician, who in later life began to seek out some instrumental and vocal instruction, and also learn a little bit of music theory.

 

In The 80s, he played in an original band and became part of the Boston club scene, getting some radio airplay on a couple of major Boston stations.

 

College, family, careers, and several bands later, Paul tried something that he'd always wanted to try...acting.   The bug bit hard.  Paul has appeared in about 3 dozen amateur and professional theatrical productions, with 3/4 of them being musicals.

 

Paul now works as a solo musician, film actor, commercial actor, voice-over artist, model, stage actor, and has written and appeared in comedy sketches.  

Paul has written more than 60 original songs and has incorporated many of them into an original and yet-to-be performed rock/pop musical called You Are My Song.

 

Paul performs solo a few times a month, playing acoustic guitar and singing classic rock songs with a few surprises thrown in. Before going solo, he played and sang all of John Lennon's parts in the New England-based the Beatles tribute band, HELP!
